OUTWARD BOUND IN WALES
A group of 23 Year 8 and 9 girls recently took part in an outward bound trip to Aberdovey on the Welsh West coast. Teacher Ms Sexton said:
”From abseiling down cliff edges to hiking through the mountains in the stunning Snowdownia National Park, the girls had an experience of a lifetime. The aim of the course is to build confidence, resilience and determination, to face challenges and overcome them.
"The girls certainly found it challenging at different times but each one faced their fears and ended up having a very fun and rewarding week.
"It was great to see the girls encouraging and helping each other in their teams, this was one of the things that impressed us the most.
"It was a hugely successful trip, so a massive thank you and well done to all involved.”
