Pop up for Science
Pupils were invited to a number of lunchtime pop up science labs during British Science Week, where they tried their hands at ice cream making and felt the effects of a Van de Graaff generator.
For the less squeamish, Science teacher, Mr Maunder, demonstrated dissecting a rat.
The week is a celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths; and is supported by the British Science Association.
Teachers also showed how other subjects linked to Science, such as Music and sound waves, Geography with climate the earth structure, English with memory, language and the brain; and PE with physiology of the human body.
British Science Week ran from 10th to 19th March 2017.
