Morpeth School’s Somali families, with support from the wider school community, have raised an impressive £1,405.50, which will be given to the international charity Action Aid.

The charity is currently working in Somaliland where people are facing extreme hunger due to drought.

Fundraising activities included a bake sale and a specially prepared fundraising lunch.
